Android 8.0 Oreo beta program is going to close for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. The Samsung has confirmed that the Oreo beta testing program for its flagship smartphones will end on Friday, Jan. 26 in the US.

This news comes after each device received its 7th and final Oreo beta update last week, that update was actually the third in January.

Samsung sent an update to members of the Oreo beta testing group. Unfortunately Samsung’s message did not state when the final, non-beta Oreo update will be released for the Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus, though the company did state it will release the final build as soon as it can.

The question now becomes, when will the stable release come? The Oreo beta program for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ featured T-Mobile, Sprint, and unlocked models. Samsung only said in this final notice that they “look forward to releasing the official software update as soon as we can.”

In addition to all of the features Google included in Android 8.0 Oreo, the update will also bring with Samsung Experience 9.0 software version, including the Dual Messenger feature, also add an improved Samsung keyboard and many more additions, improvements, and bug fixes.
