ASUS Zenfone 5 Lite Certified In Russia, It Could Have 6-Inch Display And Qualcomm Chipset

According to Asus‘ CEO Jerry Shen, we should expect the first ZenFone 5 smartphones to be unveiled as early as March. Today in Russia, the first device from the new line, Zenfone 5 Lite, was certified. Russian agencies traditionally do not disclose the characteristics of smartphones, but in the case of ASUS, there is enough index.

The letters and numbers in the phone’s model number (ZC600KL) refer to some of its specs. The letter “C” in the beginning indicates the budget status of the device, the number “60” means the phone sports a 6.0-inch display, the letters “KL” are meant to confirm the ZenFone 5 Lite is equipped with a Qualcomm processor and that it includes LTE support.

We are waiting for new details about this new device. It remains to be seen if the display will feature an 18:9 aspect ratio or not. However, it’s unclear whether they will be announced at MWC or during a dedicated event later on.
