OnePlus is not working on a OnePlus X’s successor, well, it seems like that report from yesterday is completely false. OnePlus’ CEO, Carl Pei, went to Twitter in order to deny rumors of the OnePlus X2.
Mr. Pei actually shared GSM Arena’s article which talks about plans for the OnePlus X2, an article that is based on the rumor that surfaced yesterday, and along with the article, Carl Pei simply wrote “Nope”.
The OnePlus X was announced back in October 2015, a couple of months after the OnePlus 2 flagship landed.
Yesterday’s rumor actually claimed that the OnePlus X2 will sport the Snapdragon 835 SoC and 4GB of RAM, but that won’t be happening, as the company seems to be focused on releasing flagship phones only, at least for the time being.
Nope. 🤷♂️ https://t.co/hsFBhDFZ8J
