The exterior design of the Galaxy S9 smartphones has barely changed – comparing CAD schematics for both makes it plain to see.
The S9 phones will be differ by fractions of a millimeter compared to the S8 generation. The biggest change seems to be that the S9+ model will be 1.7mm shorter than its predecessor. The screen position, even the thickness of the earpiece have been nudged ever so slightly.
The fingerprint reader on both phones is now positioned below the camera.
Samsung already confirmed the Galaxy S9 lineup will be officially announced in the run-up to the 2018 edition of the Mobile World Congress on February 25th. After that, Samsung will accept pre-orders for seven days in Korea.
