Many Google Pixel and Nexus phone owners have experienced the swipe mechanics on Android 8.1 Oreo, requires extra effort or multiple tries for users to do basic things like unlocking their phone or answering calls.
Well, Google has now confirmed that it’s investigating the problem. Orrin, a community manager at the Pixel User Community said that they are looking into swipe issues, and will be reaching out privately for bug reports.
This should be a problem that can be resolved with a software update. But still no information on when the problem will be fixed, and the company hasn’t offered an ETA for an eventual fix.
If you are facing this issue, you can report it by going to Settings > System > About Phone > Send feedback.
