HTC announced unaudited consolidated revenue for December 2017, ended 2017 on a low note. The company saw December revenues of NT$4.02 bn ($136 million). And total unaudited consolidated revenue from January to December 2017 of NT$62.12 bn ($2.1 / €1.8 billion).

Last year was a poor year for the HTC, the lowest in the last 13 years. The HTC U11+ went on sale in December but did not help to reverse HTC’s downward trajectory.

A deal worth $1.1 billion between HTC and Google was approved, and the deal can be completed in 2018. It could bring HTC’s hopes in making a comeback to the US market.
