LG Will Launch The G7 In April, Quick Charge 4.0 And 6GB RAM

LG will launch the G7 in Korea in April. Compared with last year’s release of G6, it delayed more than a month. According to the source, it is confirmed that LG has agreed to launch the G7 with three mobile communication services in April.

A senior official of Lee Myung-bak said, “I discussed with LG Electronics the domestic launch of the G7 in April,” he said. “Even if the production schedule is delayed, it will not be over in May.” LG Electronics will begin mass production of the G7 in March.

“LG Electronics is not likely to release the G7 at MWC 2018,” a mobile operator official said. “I heard that it is likely to be released in mid-March.” LG Electronics did not deny the positive, saying, “We are considering the G7 release in various angles.”

It is obvious that it is an appropriate opportunity for introducing next-generation strategic smartphones as it is an exhibition attracting attention from the world, but it takes more than a month to launch after the release.

“We will not be worried of the Samsung Galaxy S9 launched in March, but will prioritize the G7 differentiation,” said Hwang Jung-hwan, head of mobile communication’s business division.

The LG G7 is expected to ship with Snapdragon 845, in addition, it will sport 6GB RAM. Another nice surprise, an OLED touchscreen, iris recognition with a dual front camera set, dual rear camera, wireless charging and FM radio. Don’t forget Quick Charge 4.0.

“Domestic consumers will be able to purchase the G7 after April 20th,” confirmed other sources.
