According to the theinvestor, the LG G7 flagship will be unveiled in the middle of March and launched in April. LG will apparently skip the 2018 MWC trade show, and a Korean telecom official said, “LG is unlikely to unveil the G7 at MWC. The phone could be unveiled in mid-March before its official launch.”
The device will launch in Korea on April 20, yet another source claims and if tradition holds, the phone will reach Europe and the US a couple of weeks later (Like G6). Traditionally, LG’s new flagship model has been unveiled at MWC in Barcelona every February.
The LG G7 expected to come with the Snapdragon 845 chipset, it is highly likely to succeed V30’s OLED display and bezel-less design, and a dual camera setup in back. The device is also expected to feature improved iris recognition to unlock the phone.
The LG G7 is the first flagship model under the leadership of Hwang Jeong-hwan, LG’s new mobile chief who took office in December.
