According to the reliable industry insider Evan Blass, Motorola Mobility is prepping the Moto X4 successor that is believed to be the Moto X5. He has shared an image of what could be the logo of the upcoming smartphone on Twitter. If you don’t remember, earlier this year, Blass shared the logo of the unannounced Moto X4, thereby being the first source to let out the name of the smartphone.
Blass hasn’t leaked any details of the new phone just yet, but we expect them to come through thick and fast in the coming months. The specifications that the Moto X5 might feature remain unknown for now but the device is expected to come with some improvements than the Moto X4.
However, judging by what the Moto X4 is offering, the X5 could be a dust- and water-resistant handset with mid-range specs and an attractive price.
Blass has also teased names for some other Moto devices, including the G and E series. He says the Play name will return for both, to create two trios of devices: Moto G6, G6 Plus and G6 Play and E5, E5 Plus and E5 Play.
Considering the fact that the Moto X4 was introduced in August and released in October, we can expect to see a similar schedule for the Moto X5.
