Our friends at Droid Life has posted full device renders of Motorola’s 2018 lineup, if accurate, hint at some big changes to the Lenovo brand’s smartphone lineup. We can’t yet verify if any of this is legit just yet, some of what we’re seeing lines up nicely with another leak that came out before these.
Here’s what we might see from Motorola in 2018.
Our first look at the Motorola’s Moto X5 shows a very similar design compared to its predecessors, but there are a some key differences. The Moto X5 appears to have a notch near the top just like iPhone X.
The X5 will supposedly come with 5.9-inch FHD+ display, dual cameras on the front and back of the device, and also “Moto’s Smart AI.” There’s no visible fingerprint sensor in the renders.
Moto Z3/Z3 Play
Both the Moto Z3 and Moto Z3 Play will supposedly come with 6-inch FHD+ displays. The image of the Z3 (below) also reveals a new Moto Mod.
The “5G” branding in the bottom suggests that this Mod will allow the Moto Z3 to get 5G data speeds.
Moto G6/G6 Play/G6 Plus
There will be 3 G-series phones in 2018, the Moto G6, G6 Play, and G6 Plus.
The G6 Play will come with A 5.7-inch FHD+ display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, and a massive 4,000 mah battery.
The Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus will adopt the 18:9 aspect ratio. The Moto G6 will come with a 5.7-inch FHD+ display and the G6 Plus going for a 5.93-inch display.
The G6 will come with a Snapdragon 450, 3,000 mAh battery, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32/64GB storage, 12MP + 5MP rear cameras, and a 16MP front-camera.
The G6 Plus will come with advance Snapdragon 630, 6GB RAM. Other specs are same as the Moto G6.
The overall design of the Moto E5 appears to be mostly same, but the fingerprint sensor has been moved from the front to the back.
The price and specs are still unknown. The predecessor of the Moto E5 proved to be a truly awesome phone in 2017.
