New Benchmarks ranking : Galaxy S7’s chips match the iPhone 6s

Writing long about the Samsung Galaxy S7, The flagship phone have two different chipsets depending on the country, leaks that preceded.

Either an Exynos 8890 processor or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. The benchmark leaks all painted a similar picture: It is first high-end processors packing performance on a android mobile device coming in the Galaxy S7. But, it suggested that neither Samsung nor Qualcomm will perform better than Apple’s A9, their biggest chip rival.

 

Looking like, the A10 is likely to blow competitors later this year when Apple announces its next-gen chip.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S7 is out, means official benchmark testing is available for both the Exynos 8890 and Snapdragon 820 processors.

Reported by AnTuTu, released a new list of the top 10 best performing smartphone chips. As you can see in the image above, the Snapdragon 820 is the fastest processor on the block, but it barely outperforms the Apple A9. The Exynos 8890 is in third place, following Apple’s chip closely.




If you want a powerful smartphone with performance this year, then you’d better pick one from first three CPUs given in table.

As it is clear from above table by AnTuTu’s rankings that the A9 almost double the A8 in chip performance. It is not saying that A10 will offer double the performance of A9, but there are high expectation for Apple’s chip.

Above table shows GPU performance according to AnTuTu. The Snapdragon 820 seems to be the clear winner compared to everyone else, significantly more than the A9 and Exynos 8890. It is looking like the GPU performance need to update for rest of the manufacturer. Still long wait for Apple’s premium device, till Samsung have good chance to catch the market. Let’s wait for next….
