HMD Global has just announced an upgraded version of the Nokia 6 smartphone. The new Nokia 6, the handset will be exclusively available for purchase in China for $230. It looks identical to the 2017 variant in design, except for the fingerprint sensor being moved to the back.
The Nokia comes with a 5.5- inch full HD display, octa-core Snapdragon 630 in this variant, and 4GB of RAM. It has 32GB and 64GB of internal storage. The phone still comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat but will receive an update to Oreo.
The new Nokia 6 has 16-megapixel rear-facing camera and 8-megapixel selfie snapper. The device does not come with a physical home button, and the fingerprint sensor has been moved to the back of the phone.
The new device gets OZO Audio recording that allows for 3D audio capture and playback, and users can now enjoy the Bothie mode.
Currently, the 2nd generation Nokia 6 is exclusively available in China, at least for now. The 32GB variant starts at about $230, whereas the 64GB model is $245.
You can book the device in China right now from Nokia’s official website, but delivery will start on January 10.
