OnePlus 5T Spotted On GFXBench, Improved Front Camera & Android Nougat

OnePlus is now close to announcing a successor of the OnePlus 5, a device that’s believed to be the OnePlus 5T bearing the model number A5010 was reportedly sighted in the database of mobile benchmark tool GFXBench earlier today, having been tested as featuring specs that are relatively similar to those of its predecessor, with a number of notable exceptions.

OnePlus 5T configuration spotted

As per the GFXBench listing, the OnePlus 5T, codenamed as OnePlus A5010, will have a 6-inch display with FHD+ resolution at 1080×2160 pixels. Running OxygenOS based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, though the finished product may ship with a OnePlus-made proprietary mobile skin based on Android 8.0 Oreo.

The upcoming OnePlus smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. These memory configurations correspond to the ones of the OnePlus 5 and both are likely to be commercialized with a price difference of approximately $70.

The OnePlus 5T is expected to have a dual-camera setup on the back. The listing reveals 15-megapixel back camera, but the phone will most probably pack a 16-megapixel + 20-megapixel dual camera setup, last seen in OnePlus 5. On the front, a 20-megapixel selfie snapper is listed, which is an upgrade compared to its predecessor.

We’re guessing that the OnePlus 5T will be officially unveiled in the very near future. The OnePlus 5T should drop in late November, with a recent leak claiming the handset will be unveiled on November 16th.
