The OnePlus 5T is right around the corner, the company had announced that the phone will be launched on November 16. The smartphone puts a solid first score on Geekbench under the name of OnePlus A5010.
The powerful flagship with the Snapdragon 835 processor and 8 GB RAM, scored 1959 for single core and 6742 at multi core. This means that the flagship with the first score is already in the higher segment.
The OnePlus 5 is currently together with the HTC U11 the fastest Android smartphone with the Snapdragon 835. This score puts the flagship at least alongside. A striking aspect of the first GeekBench score is that the OnePlus 5T device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The new Android 8 Oreo operating system has been out for some time now.
As for the price of that one, it remains to be heard, but the OnePlus CEO already hinted that it will “probably” come at a sub-$600 tag.
According to the rumors OnePlus 5T will sport a 6.01-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) AMOLED display, while it will be fueled by the same processor as the OnePlus 5, the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core SoC.
OnePlus 5T is also rumored to arrive in both 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM variants, which will ship with 64GB and 128GB of storage, respectively.
The OnePlus 5T will sport a dual camera setup on its back, it seems like we’re looking at 20 and 16-megapixel snappers once again. A 16 or 20-megapixel shooter will be included on the front side of the OnePlus 5T, and you can expect to see a battery that is larger than 3,000mAh included in this package as well.
Consumers in the United States, Canada, and Europe will be able to purchase the OnePlus 5T starting November 21st, whereas those from India will be able to get it from November 28th, less they’re quick enough to grab one during a flash sale that’s also scheduled for the 21st of the month. The OnePlus 5T will start selling in China on December 1.
