OnePlus 7 is expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor while leaks have suggested that it will also come with a sliding camera. Here are the biggest rumours about the OnePlus 7 so far.
OnePlus has been proving its mettle in the mid-range smartphone segment for more than a couple of years now and while every new OnePlus smartphone ups the ante in terms of its overall packaging along with the features list, the sales numbers also go a notch higher every year. Now, after launching the OnePlus 6T, the Chinese smartphone maker has once again claimed the perfect budget flagship title but will the OnePlus 7 be able to repeat what its predecessors have done in the past?
Well, with the recent leaks and rumours regarding the upcoming OnePlus 7 smartphone we do believe that the company might have a chance to launch its best ever smartphone this year which could take the benchmarks to a new level. The OnePlus 7 is already rumoured to become the first smartphone from the company to support 5G connectivity while it is almost certain that it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. Here, we are going to talk about the top 5 features which are rumoured to be seen with the OnePlus 7 smartphone.
OnePlus 7 launch: The biggest rumours about the upcoming OnePlus flagship
Sliding front camera
With the OnePlus 7, the company is expected to completely ditch the notch design in favour of a full screen front panel with sliding front camera module. This will be similar to what we see in the Vivo Nex. If this turns out to be true, the OnePlus 7 will sport the highest screen-to-body ratio ever for a OnePlus smartphone.
Warp Charge 30
OnePlus showcased its Warp Charge 30 technology with the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition and while it is much powerful than the Dash Charge tech, OnePlus is also expected to make Warp Charge 30 support a standard feature for all OnePlus 7 variants.
The OnePlus 7 is rumoured to feature Sony’s IMX586 camera sensor which will make it the first smartphone from the company to come with a 48-megapixel primary rear camera. While leaks has hinted towards a triple rear camera module, it is also expected that the OnePlus 7 will also come with a similar feature like Oppo’s 10X optical zoom camera.
Carl Pei, who is the OnePlus co-founder, recently hinted that future OnePlus smartphones will come with HDR support as it can offer users a higher quality streaming experience. On the other hand, Netflix’s HDR support is also one of the most demanded features from OnePlus fans and this year’s flagship from the company might end up delivering on its fans’ demands.
OnePlus confirmed earlier that it will be launching a 5G-compatible smartphone in 2019 but it won’t be the base variant of the OnePlus 7. The 5G version will be more expensive than the base variant of the OnePlus 7 and will be launched weeks after the OnePlus 7 launch.
