Samsung took the wraps off of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus smartphones at Mobile World Congress, its next round of flagship devices. Pre-orders for these new smartphones opened already. So if you’ve been looking to pick up the Galaxy S9 or the Galaxy S9 Plus, you can now do so. Both smartphones are available from all four US carriers – AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile – as well as Samsung.
AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon all have pre-orders open right now, with them slated to ship on March 16th. Samsung.com will also be shipping its units on March 16th. The carriers are offering up different promotions to get users to switch to the new Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9 Plus. Which include trading in your existing smartphone for credit on one of these new devices.
The trade-in credit goes all the way up to as much as $350. Which can make a decent dent in the price of the Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9 Plus. Speaking of pricing, the Galaxy S9 is priced at $719 and the Galaxy S9 Plus is $839.
The Galaxy S8 was available in Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Coral Blue, Arctic Silver, and Maple Gold colors at launch. For the Galaxy S9 duo, Samsung is going with Midnight Black, Lilac Purple, Coral Blue, and Titanium Gray (in some markets).
Which of the four “official” colors do you like the most? The Midnight Black, Lilac Purple, Coral Blue, or Titanium Gray?
