Today, every device manufacturer preparing for latest available android version update. Samsung is rolling out the Galaxy S5 device Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update.
On March 21, update was rolled out only within South Korea, but is now available for the 2014 model all over the world.
In US, Galaxy S5 users can expect to receive the update via their network providers. S5 owners in Trinidad and Tobago have received the update with build number G900MUBU1CPC3 for the SM-G900L model, Ubergizmo reported.
The Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 will be the first update for the Samsung Galaxy S5, since the Android Lollipop. The OTA update is slated to be 1.47GB in size, which will also include Android Marshmallow Signature features such as Google Now on Tap, Doze and several hundred new emoji’s as well as the March Android security patch.
Korean Vendor is also slated to roll-out the Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 update to other Galaxy devices such as Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy A3, Galaxy A7, Galaxy A8, Galaxy E5, Galaxy E7, Galaxy J2 and Galaxy J5 soon.

Meanwhile, Sprint has reportedly started rolling out 6.0.1 to Galaxy Note 4 and Note 5 users in the US even before the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update was rolled out for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+.
“Sprint has started seeding the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow to users of the Galaxy Note 4 in the US. The Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 update comes a month later than it was originally scheduled and this is only a carrier-supported version for Sprint users. The Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 update for the device is 1.4GB in size with build number N910PVPU4DPC1 and brings all of the features and improvements that are part and parcel of Marshmallow like Doze mode and App permissions. Here something important; Galaxy S5 users would be notified about the update automatically, when their device receives it. However, users can manually check for the 6.0.1 Marshmallow update by simply checking for it in settings. Once inside settings, go to “About Phone” and then click on “System updates”. Finally, click on “Check for update”.
