T-Mobile Galaxy Note 8 Update Brings December Security Patch

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Freezing Fix Update

The T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is getting a new software update. A new software update which seems to bring the December Google security patches, including updates for video calls/conferencing, T-Mobile’s DIGITS, and various unspecified system improvements.

The current update is identified by the build number “N950USQU2BQLA” and unsurprisingly, T-Mobile is distributing the new software in a gradual manner. The update size is 316MB.

The Note 8 is also expected to make the jump to Android 8.0 Oreo in the near future. You can see if the update is available by going into the Settings » About phone menu and selecting the Download updates manually option.
