Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 Plus Getting Android Oreo Beta In India, Germany And France

Samsung started rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo Beta for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus in more countries. The Beta program has expanded to India, Germany, France, Spain, Poland and China.

Previously Beta was only available in 3 markets, US, UK and South Korea. Now the total number of countries eligible for the Beta rises to 9.

If you’re a Galaxy S8/S8 Plus owner, you can register through the Samsung Members app. In app go to Home > Notices > Register for Galaxy Beta Program. After that, you can download the update by heading to Settings > Software update > Download updates manually.

The update weighs in at around 1,395MB. Although Samsung hasn’t yet officially announced that this is the second phase for the Galaxy S8/S8 Plus Oreo Beta program.
