The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus stable Android 8.0 Oreo update is highly likely to start rolling out in January. The beta program was expected to end today, but the company made it official in the Samsung Members community that the Android 8.0 Oreo beta program for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be ending on January 17th.

The company says that it will do its “best to distribute the official S/W version in January as soon as possible.”

As for the public roll out, an exact date is still not known. Also, going by what we’ve seen in the past, it’s possible that those who are part of the beta program will get the final update first.
