Verizon’s changelog also states that the update includes a fix for the KRACK Wi-Fi exploit. The KRACK vulnerability was addressed with the November security patch which was also rolled out by Verizon, so it’s a bit bizarre to see it mentioned here.
The current update is identified by the build number “OPM1.171019.011” and unsurprisingly, Verizon is distributing the new software in a gradual manner, so it may take time for the update notification to pop up on your device, so be patient. You can try to install it manually by going to Settings > System > System Update.
Anyway Google is still testing the Android 8.1 Oreo update on the Pixel devices.
