Xioami has already announced to launch the all-new Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus smartphones in China on December 7th. A new promotional video for these two phones has just surfaced, video has popped up in China. Having said that, this is clearly a leaked promo video for the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus.

This video contains several short commercials for the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus, and it seems to be set in ancient Japan. This video only confirms previous leaks.

The Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus will ship with a single camera on the back, which actually goes hand-in-hand with the info that leaked several times thus far. The Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus will sport rather thin bezels, though not as thin as the Galaxy S8, or the LG V30, but considerably thinner than previous Redmi-branded handsets.

The Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus will ship with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and its displays will sport rounded corners. The back side of these two phones will be curved, and the two phones will be made out of metal. All of the physical keys will be placed on the right-hand side of the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus. Now, as far as specs are concerned, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 is expected to be a bit smaller than the Redmi 5 Plus, as it’s expected to sport a 5.7-inch HD+ (1440 x 720) display. This phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 450 SoC, if rumors are to be believed, and it will arrive in both 2GB and 3GB RAM variants, both of which are rumored to sport 32GB of native storage. A 12-megapixel main snapper will be included, as will a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. A 3,300mAh non-removable battery will probably be included in this package as well.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus will arrive with a 5.99-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display, along with 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. The phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 625 64-bit octa-core processor, and it will also sport a 12-megapixel camera on the back. It will sport a 4,000mAh non-removable battery. A 5-megapixel shooter will be included on the phone’s front side, while both the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus will ship with Android Nougat, and MIUI 9 on top of it.
