Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 may not launch in India in February, March launch possible

If you have been eagerly waiting for the Redmi Note 7 looks like Xiaomi wants you to have more patience and wait for some more time. Rumours until now suggested that Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Note 7 in India this month, that is in February. But some new reports now reveal that Xiaomi may take some more time to bring the Redmi Note 7 to India. Last week sources close to India Today Tech revealed that Xiaomi may take some time to launch the Redmi Note 7 in India.

A report coming from Mysmartprice in partnership with Indian tipster Ishan Agarwal suggests that the Redmi Note 7 India launch may have been delayed by another month. This means that the Redmi Note 7 may not launch in India before March. Having said that there could be high chances that Xiaomi may directly bring the Redmi Note 7 Pro instead of Redmi Note 7.

Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi Note 7 Pro in China this month, in February itself. The company is yet to reveal the exact launch details of the smartphone, but considering the unending rumours about Redmi Note 7 Pro flooding the internet the phone is expected to launch very soon, possibly in a few more weeks or so.

Ahead of the launch, almost everything has been revealed about the Redmi Note 7 Pro. Xiaomi, however, is yet to confirm these details. Rumours suggest that the Pro version will also come with a 48MP camera but will use Sony IMX 586 sensor unlike the Note 7. The Redmi Note 7 also comes with 48MP main rear camera paired with Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor.

As for the looks and display the Redmi Note 7 Pro will be similar to the Redmi Note 7. The Pro version is said to come with gradient finish and glass back like the Note 7. The Note 7 Pro is said to come with waterdrop notch which means the phone will have a bigger screen-to-body ratio and offer better viewing experience. The Redmi Note 7 Pro is rumoured to come with a 6.3-inch full-HD+ LTPS display with screen resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and aspect ratio of 19.5:9.

On the hardware front, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is said to be powered by Snapdragon 675 chipset and not Snapdragon 660 SoC that powers the Note 7. Some rumours suggest that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will come packed with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. We believe this could one model, there could be other variants too.

Ahead of the launch, the expected price of the Redmi Note 7 Pro has also been revealed. Rumours suggest that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will be priced between CNY 1,399 – 1,499, which translates to Rs 14,600 – 15,700.
